Annual events

To enrich the lives of the community, Croston Together has been instrumental in the creation and running of many of the events that drive fun and entertainment in the village.  Events are a great way to encourage the community to get out and enjoy our village, work together, socialise and have fun.

We support and run 3 main events throughout the year, with plans for more annual get-togethers to be added each year.

Croston fest
FEBRUARY

A weekend showcasing musical talent. Fun for all the family, this event just gets better and better. Once a year the village opens itself up to a diverse and creative range of musicians from choirs to rock and pop. Solos, duets, DJs and bands – there really is something for everyone. A programme of events is published so you can work your way to the locations of your favourites acts, whilst enjoying a drink and a bite to eat along the way. Every year a chosen charity is supported through our 'special events’ such as the World Record attempt to make the largest Lancashire Hotpot. £1,000’s raised for great causes. Founded and previously ran by Croston Together, Croston Fest is now run by local people from the village with our support.

Croston Village show
EVERY SEPTEMBER

Croston Arts, Crafts and Produce Show has been running for a number of years under the stewardship of Ian Coggin. The show is very much a success in its own right but Ian has asked Croston Together for help and support in moving the event forward over the coming years.

More news on this very soon!

Croston Open gardens

Green fingered residents of the village open their gardens to the public, a great way to be inspired, get ideas and advice, and share knowledge. Whether you're a keen gardener, a little potterer, or even if you're just a little nosey – its a great day for all the family, full of teas cakes and homemade wine. One not to missed, £1,000’s have been raised to support local projects.
