Croston Together grants are available to support local groups, event and initiatives. We’ve already helped a number of groups in the village:
We provided start up funding for the very successful Croston Open Gardens.
We purchased gazebos for the village to use at community events driven by the Croston-Azay Twinning Association.
We purchased two new tables to support the Croston Table Tennis club's ambition of opening the 50+ club up to junior members.
We provide regular funding to support ongoing work by the Croston Festivities Group, Croston in Bloom, and many more.
We have helped Croston Knitwits to buy wool and set up a community knitting group involving Croston Park Nursing Home. The group now meets regularly.
We gave a grant of £200 to help Charlie Quinn set up a Lego Group in the village, and with the aid of the Parish Council we part funded a STEM event which continues to thrive.
Applications are now being accepted. If you would like to bid for funding, it's really easy. We review bids as a steering committee once every quarter. We always provide feedback on your application, and if we are not able to approve your grant request, we will always try to help in other ways.
